In this final episode of Unplowed Ground, we’ll remind ourselves of the purpose of the plowing—that we might bear fruit that brings the Lord glory! Today, we’ll discuss some practical ways to do that. So often we think of fruit as something major that the Lord desires to do in our lives, and sometimes it is. But more often, we bear fruit in the small, daily decisions of our walk with the Lord.
Invitation to respond:
May you know the presence of the God who walks with you. May you seek Him daily. May you pick up the plow at His prompting. May your hands be covered in the dirt of this earth but may your eyes be lifted to the One who says, “Come to me all who are weary, and I will give you rest.”
We don’t plow to make ourselves worthy. We plow because we know the Worthy One.
